Job Description

Travel OR/PACU RN is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in Maine. Shifts are Days M-F with call, 40 hours one week, 32 hours next, alternating.. Certifications held ACLS, BLS, and PALS. 3 years of experience is required. Ability to utilize nursing process and provide patient-centered care in surgical setting as a surgical nurse through all phases of the surgical process (pre-,intra-, and post-operative). Adheres to surgical culture of safety and communication in performance of checklist verification and collaboration with members of multi-disciplinary team. Ability to critically think and act in acute situation. Performs surgical nursing interventions that include lifting up to 35 pounds independently, bending to floor level maneuvering surgical equipment, and using safe patient handling resources for additional weight.
