Description:
Prefer immediate start for this position.
The assignment is for 13 weeks with 3 shifts of 12 hours each.
The unit is a 24-bed telemetry progressive care unit.
The role specializes in the care of patients under hospitalist medicine with a focus on renal and a variety of other medical diagnoses.
It serves as an alternative unit for patients undergoing GI, pulmonary, and other surgical or procedural care.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5.
Candidates must comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements, with medical or religious exemptions accepted only.
Travelers are expected to work at least one holiday during their assignment, with specific holiday requirements during winter.
Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration.
Previous employees must wait one year before returning for new assignments.
There are specific policies regarding traveler separation and reapplication after assignments.
Orientation includes 24 hours of training, which is non-billable if completed within the first 24 hours.
Modules may be completed pre-start or during orientation and hours may vary by specialty.
Payment for completed modules occurs bi-weekly following approval.
