Description:
PCU Registered Nurse for a surgical unit.
12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Currently, a 1:5 patient-to-nurse ratio with a goal of 1:4.
All travelers are expected to work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment.
During winter holidays, two holidays are required.
Compliance documents are due the Wednesday prior to the start date.
Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are considered local and are not eligible.
Separation Policy effective July 1, 2025: travelers cannot return after 365 days.
Orientation consists of 24 hours, with modules being non-billable if completed within the first 24 hours of orientation.
Modules may be done pre-start or during orientation, and hours vary by specialty.
Hours for modules are recorded and paid upon receipt of approved hours.
