Description:
Progressive Care Unit with 44 beds.
95 staff members including:
– 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC on day shift.
– 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC on night shift.
Patient ratios are 4:1 at grid and 5:1 stretched.
Typical equipment includes IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pump, chest tubes, trachs, and patient lifts.
Electronic Medical Record system is Cerner.
Typical procedures performed include neuro and spinal checks, C-Collar placement, TLSO braces, chest tubes, PCA pump, IV infusions, lumbar drains, feeding tube placement, and blood transfusions.
Ideal candidates will be team players and patient-focused.
Every other weekend commitment required.
