Description:
This position is for a general medicine Progressive Care Unit.
The shift is 7 AM to 7 PM, three days per week.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is currently 1:5 in the Progressive Care Unit.
All staff may be required to float as needed based on patient acuity.
All requests for time off must be submitted upfront with the application.
Candidates are expected to work at least one holiday per season.
Compliance documents are due the Wednesday prior to the Monday start date.
Candidates who reside within 100 miles of the facility are considered local and are not accepted.
Previous employees must be gone for a minimum of one year before returning as a traveler.
Travelers that end their assignments prior to a specified date will be subject to a different policy regarding reapplication.
Modules are required during the first 24 hours of orientation.
Orientation modules and hours vary based on specialty.
Modules will be recorded by the facility and paid upon receipt of approved hours.
Orientation consists of 24 hours of non-billable time.
