Description:
This position requires a Registered Nurse with experience in Telemetry.
The candidate will perform direct patient care activities for all age groups.
Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
The RN will monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort.
The role involves maintaining professional accountability for patient care provision.
Evaluating the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care providers is essential.
The RN will ensure the coordination of patient care in conjunction with other departments.
Maintaining patient rights and confidentiality of patient information is a key duty.
All activities must align with established guidelines of nursing practice and ethical standards.
The working environment requires the ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
Physical tasks may include bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients.
Candidates should be prepared to work differing schedules and shifts as needed.
Exposure to blood and body fluids is high, and physical demands include pushing, pulling, and gripping.
The RN will utilize the nursing process for patients post-trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities.
