Job Title: RN-PACU

Location: Santa Rosa,CA
Pay Range: $2000/week-$2701/week
Start Date: Two weeks from the date of position offered.
Job Type: 13 weeks contract

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled RN-PACU to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and procedures, providing accurate results crucial for patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities

  • Monitor Post-Operative Patients: Continuously assess vital signs, pain levels, consciousness, and surgical sites to ensure a safe recovery from anesthesia.
  • Administer Medications: Deliver pain relief, anti-nausea, and other prescribed medications as needed during the post-anesthesia recovery phase.
  • Manage Airway and Breathing: Ensure patient airways remain open, administer oxygen, and intervene in case of respiratory complications.
  • Provide Emotional Support: Comfort patients as they regain consciousness and communicate with families regarding recovery status and post-op instructions.
  • Document Patient Care: Accurately chart assessments, interventions, medications given, and patient responses in medical records.

Qualifications

  • Active RN License: Must hold a valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications: Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is typically required.
  • PACU or Critical Care Experience: Previous experience in PACU, ICU, or another critical care setting is often preferred or required.
  • Strong Assessment & Monitoring Skills: Ability to assess patient conditions quickly and respond to changes in vital signs, consciousness, or pain levels.
  • Excellent Communication & Teamwork: Strong ability to communicate with patients, families, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare team members effectively.

Required:
Minimum 1 years experience – required.
Active BLS – required.
CA RN License – required
