Description:
Looking for a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit.
This role involves caring for patients requiring step-down services.
The nurse will be expected to float to other PCU and lower acuity settings within their skill set.
Potential floating to med/surg floors and the Emergency Department may be required.
Ratios are typically 1:5, with a possibility of 1:6.
Candidates must be comfortable with the hospital operating at over 100% capacity.
COVID vaccination is required, with exemptions accepted following completion of the necessary form.
Travelers are encouraged to limit request time off to enhance the offer process.
Weekend shifts will be required, with two weekends per four-week schedule.
RTO restrictions apply; further requests will be considered during the offer process.
Orientation includes 8 hours of training.
Non-local candidates need to provide a valid driver’s license upon submission.
Compliance with facility-specific requirements is mandatory.
Travelers can work a maximum of 12 consecutive months before needing a break.
Regular communication regarding availability prior to submission is essential.
Modules for training are included during orientation and are part of annual compliance.
