Description:
Must have 2 years of cardiac PCU experience.
Experience in IV insertion, telemetry, dysrhythmia, and 12-lead EKG is required.
Preferred skillset includes PCCN certification, Pre/Post Cath Lab experience, and sheath pull experience.
The unit consists of a maximum of 14 beds.
Patient ratios are typically 4:1 to 5:1, with specialty teams for specific procedures.
Equipment includes telemetry monitors and related devices.
Candidates must be self-motivated, team-oriented, and willing to learn.
Friendly and outgoing personalities are encouraged.
Scrub colors are galaxy blue tops and either galaxy blue or black pants.
This position involves caring for patients experiencing cardiac recovery.
