Description:
This position is for a telemetry PCU specializing in the care and management of hospitalist medicine patients, including stroke and neurology patients.
It is a certified primary stroke center.
The current nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5, with a goal of 1:4.
All travelers are expected to float as needed within acuity.
All requests for time off must be submitted upfront.
Compliance documents are due the Wednesday prior to the start date.
Candidates who reside within 100 miles of the facility are considered local candidates and are not accepted.
Return travelers must have been gone for a minimum of one year before returning to work in this capacity.
Travelers who end their assignment prior to a specified date will be grandfathered under the current policy regarding reapplication eligibility.
Orientation for this role is 24 hours.
Modules may be completed before the start date or during orientation and hours vary based on specialty.
Modules are recorded by facility report and paid upon receipt of approved hours from the facility.
