**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)**Job Specialty:** Emergency Room (ER)**Job Duration:** **Shift:** 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM**Guaranteed Hours:** 36**Experience:** Prior ER experience preferred**License:** Current RN licensure**Certifications:** – BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required- CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) – Preferred- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – Preferred**Must-Have:** – Rhythm Recognition or Basic Arrhythmia experience- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Allscripts Paragon**Job Description:**- Prescribe and coordinate professional nursing care for assigned patients within the emergency room setting.- Independently follow nursing practice guidelines, medical direction, and hospital policies, procedures, and standards.- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.- Provide a high level of patient care and perform essential procedures such as reading vital signs and administering injections or vaccinations.- Be flexible and willing to support other staff as needed.- Participate in training and educational activities to enhance knowledge and skills.- Coordinate effectively with other shifts to ensure continuity of care.- Maintain strong relationships with other departments and units for seamless patient services.- Engage in the development and updating of policies, procedures, and personnel skills.- Participate in a comprehensive orientation and hands-on training to prepare for the role.- Work collaboratively in a team with 3-4 other staff members.- Support a 12-bed unit, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.- Take part in weekend rotations as required.**Benefits Offered:** – Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance with various options- Flexible Spending Accounts- Company Paid Life Insurance- Optional Voluntary Life Insurance for employee, spouse, and children- Short and Long Term Disability Insurance- Accident, Critical Illness, and Identity Theft Insurance- Retirement Plan- Tuition reimbursement available for full-time employees.
