**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)**Job Specialty:** Emergency Department (ED)**Job Duration:** To Be Determined**Shift:** Variable Shifts**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 Hours Per Week**Experience:** Open to New Graduates**License:** Must be licensed and registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of permanent residency or hold a Compact License**Certifications:** American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire**Must-Have:** Must confirm if candidate requires sponsorship to work in the US**Job Description:**- Provide nursing care for emergency and trauma patients- Play a significant role in hospital’s Stroke, AMI, and trauma programs- Work in specialized areas for adult and pediatric mental health evaluations- Develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of patient care utilizing ANA Standards and the nursing process- Act as a patient advocate- Offer support, information, and direct care- Skillfully utilize equipment and technology, demonstrating competence in nursing procedures- Educate patients and families on significant self-care issues- May be responsible for the inventory, distribution, and delivery of medications- Schedule may include day, evening, or night shifts, or a combination thereof, per departmental policy- Required to work weekends and major holidays as per unit need, with some mandatory additional hours**Benefits:**- Eligible staff includes full-time employees working specified hours per pay period- Includes medical, prescription, vision, and dental plans- Offers flexible spending accounts, disability insurance, and life insurance- Provides paid time off, retirement plans, and tuition assistance- Access to employee assistance programs, on-site childcare, and a credit union available- Relocation assistance provided**Comments:** Immediate start available.
