Job Description

General job duties:
The Nurse Diretor plans, directs, supervises and participates in activities of the Med Surg department to ensure that the department provides quality patient care. The Nurse Director intrgrates and promotes unit activities with other hospital departments, community health care professionals and the public; and collaborates with the Nursing Administration Team to provide principled leadership by defining and interpreting goals for the nursing department and integratings nursing’s role with the overall mission of the hospital.

EPIC, Pyxis
Required skills and minimum years of experience:
2 years of Acute care – Nursing experience
2 years of Med Surg Director experience
Licensures and certifications:
Alaska RN Licensure, BLS ACLS from AHA, PALS within 6 monts
Shift:
M-F 8a-5:30p
