This facility has 355 beds and offers various specialized services. The facility includes a comprehensive brain center, cancer center, heart center, lung center, orthopedic services, general and vascular surgery, weight loss surgery, women’s services, and a Level 3 NICU. There is a 32-bed emergency department, a 29-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, and a 15-bed surgical suite with imaging. Behavioral health services are available on-site. The facility consists of a neuroscience/neuro progressive unit with a total of 20 beds. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 5:1. Equipment utilized includes Masimo vital signs and Zoll. The electronic health record system is Cerner. The patient population primarily consists of adults and geriatrics. Common diagnoses and treatments include stroke, traumatic brain injury, altered mental status, brain cancer, spine and neck surgery, and craniotomy. The personality fit for candidates is expected to be personable, fun, and humorous. Required education includes an associate degree. The dress code consists of scrubs in any color; cartoon prints are not permitted. Nurse-style sweatshirts with hoods and nurse t-shirts are not allowed on Fridays and weekends.
