Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Surgical Progressive Care Unit.

The contract duration is 13 weeks.

The schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Currently, the nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5 with a goal of 1:4.

All travelers are expected to float within acuity as needed.

All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront.

Travelers must work two out of the three major winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.

Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are considered local and local candidates are not accepted.

Travelers must have been gone for a minimum of one year before returning to work as a traveler.

There is a separation policy in effect that prohibits travelers from returning after working on assignment for 365 days, with exceptions reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Modules for orientation may be completed pre-start or during orientation and must be recorded by facility report.

Orientation consists of 24 hours.

Non-billable hours are only applicable if completed within the first 24 hours of the new hire orientation.
