Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse • Night Shift

Location: Ellsworth, ME

We’re seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for night shifts in a mixed acuity unit.

Responsibilities:
• Care for diverse patient types including those with Vents, Sepsis, PNA, DKA, Detox, CHF, COPD exacerbation, and surgical complications.
• Occasionally care for pediatric post•surgery patients.
• Manage patient ratios of 1:3, based on acuity.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of nursing experience, with 1+ year in ICU.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Willingness to act as Charge RN.
• Proficiency in handling medical equipment and managing insulin and cardiac gtts.
• Ability to read and interpret strips for ICU and MSU.

Support on the Unit:
• Charge nurse, RT, and Hospitalist available 24/7.
• Centralized Tele monitoring tech.

Additional Information:
• Charting System: Cerner.
• May float to Med Surg or ED as needed.
• Weekend rotation: Every other; no call required.
• Scrub Color: Any professional color.
• Free Parking available.
