Certifications: BLS; ACLS required (must be AHA).

Must-Have: Strong Intermediate Care and/or ICU experience, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and ventilator management.

Description:
The Intermediate Care Unit is looking for a Registered Nurse for night shifts.
The shift schedule consists of 4 consecutive 12-hour workdays each week.
Nurses will be responsible for a variety of medical patients including respiratory issues, DKA, arrhythmias, post-operative kidney transplant patients, and interventional neurological patients.
The unit is capable of caring for telemetry patients with medical and surgical needs as well as the renal population.
Staffing ratios are 3:1 for Intermediate Care and 4:1 for medical/surgical patients.
Orientation will be provided every other week.
Each candidate should be open to floating within their scope to meet the needs of the facility.
Candidates should discuss orientation and scheduling requests during the interview.
Flu vaccination is required unless a medical exemption is documented.
COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
Candidates must have a permanent address more than 100 miles from the facility.
Anyone previously employed in a permanent role cannot return as a traveler for two years after their last day worked.
