Must-Have: Oncology experience preferred but not required. EPIC experience required.

Description:
James Clinical Resource Unit requires experienced nursing staff.
Minimum of 2 years of medical/surgical experience is necessary.
Oncology experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Candidates must have experience using the EPIC system.
The unit is a comprehensive cancer center with specialized inpatient units by cancer diagnosis.
Floating to various medical/surgical units will be required.
There is a focus on infection prevention protocols and patient safety, particularly falls.
Staffing ratios aim for 1:4, but can occasionally be 1:5.
Weekend shifts will vary based on unit needs.
Self-scheduling requests are encouraged before final schedule posting.
Orientation includes five shifts of bedside training.
Candidates must complete fingerprinting as soon as contracts are signed.
It is important to be responsive and cooperative during credentialing to avoid cancellation.
Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or leader.
Educational qualifications must be from an accredited nursing program.
Orientation will consist of 24 hours, which is non-billable.
