Description:
Registered Nurse position in a Medical/Surgical/PCU setting.
The nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care.
The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:3-4.
Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
First-time travelers are accepted.
The nurse is required to float within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity.
Orientation is 24 hours and is non-billable.
All candidates must be aware of the urgency of the fingerprinting process.
Candidates must complete fingerprints as soon as they sign the contract.
References from two professional contacts are required, including one from a manager or supervisor.
No coworker references are accepted.
Candidates must have educational credentials from an accredited program.
Current employees of the facility are not eligible for this position.
Former employees are eligible after a six-month absence.
Travelers are required to cooperate with credentialing processes.
