Description:
Seeking a registered nurse for a medical surgical unit.
This is a night shift position requiring 12-hour shifts.
The nurse will manage oxygen protocol and non-invasive airway management.
Responsibilities include peripheral line care and management, as well as adhering to isolation precautions and PPE guidelines.
Candidates must be proficient in computerized documentation.
Nurse to patient ratios are 1:6, and rapid response team activation is expected.
The unit is open to first-time travelers and utilizes Epic charting for documentation.
No call is required, but floating to similar units may occur based on facility needs.
Candidates should be prepared for 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week rotation.
