Job Description:
– This is a travel RN position in the Telemetry unit.
– Work in an acute care specialty unit on the 9th floor of a large facility.
– Manage a unit with 29 beds alongside a team of experienced staff, including RNs and Patient Care Technicians.
– Day shift staffing includes 5 RNs and 3 Patient Care Technicians; night shift staffing is the same.
– Patient ratios are estimated at 1:6.
– Utilize equipment such as PCA Pumps and IV pumps.
– Work with the Meditech Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
– Perform typical procedures such as central lines and medication drips.
– Ideal candidates will exhibit a positive attitude, engagement, independence, and strong critical thinking skills.
