Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 12-hour Night Shift

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Experience: Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical and RN experience required

License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district – Required

Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS Required; BSN – Highly desired

Must-Have: Cerner experience required; Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required

Job Description:
– Fulfills the needs of patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
– Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner.
– Applies knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan necessary to provide age-appropriate care.
– Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of patients’ needs.
– Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients.
– Makes initial assessments and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
– Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
– Completes admission assessments in the timeframe established, according to policy and procedures.
