Travel Nurse RN – Telemetry – $2,145 per week in Chandler, AZ

Job Description

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse – Telemetry Float Pool

**Job Specialty:** Telemetry

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 12-Hour Nights (4 weekend shifts per schedule)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years

**License:** Active RN License

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

**Must-Have:** Ability to titrate cardiac drips and interpret EKGs

**Job Description:**

– Float between all Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units.
– Floating may include ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, MedSurg units, and various holding areas such as the Cath Lab or ER.
– Notification of campus and unit will be given 1.5 hours prior to shift start.
– Possible floating to different units mid-shift, and rare floating to another campus within a single shift.
– Interpret centralized telemetry on the designated floor.
– No vent care is required.
– Collaborate with a charge nurse and clinical supervisor.
– Utilize provided technology such as centralized tele and spectralink phones.
– Adhere to weekend and holiday work requirements.
– Pass necessary exams and skills assessments during orientation, including a dysrhythmia exam and Sim Lab.
– Ensure compliance with cancellation and charting policies.
