Travel Nurse RN – Interventional Radiology – $2,800 to $2,900 per week in Austin, TX

Job Description

nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary. Prepare, implement and document plan of care. Communicate patient’s condition to physician before, during and after procedures. Perform and/or facilitates diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures. Perform, set up, and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures. Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire. Comments: The cath lab only has 1 FT RN and 2 PRNs to staff 2 labs and a hybrid OR. Without additional support, we risk diversion and lost volume.
