Description:
This position is for a nurse in the Progressive Care Unit.
The average daily census varies with a capacity of 26 beds.
Staffing ratios are typically 4:1, but may flex to 5:1 as needed.
Charting is done through an electronic medical records system.
Free parking is provided at the facility.
All contracted staff may be required to float to other units based on census needs.
Floating will only occur in areas where competencies have already been demonstrated and documented.
Orientation is mandatory prior to the start of the contract.
Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information.
Travelers are eligible for reimbursement for hours spent completing modules, up to 16 hours.
Completed modules will be recorded in transcripts, and time is not entered into timecards.
