License: Active RN License in Texas required
Certifications: BLS required, Chemotherapy certification preferred

– Experience with mediports, PICCs, and central lines

Description:
Provide high-quality care to patients in a bone marrow unit.
Recognize the unique needs of each patient and strive to meet those needs.
Deliver patient-focused care by following established protocols and procedures.
Administer chemotherapy and assist with various patient care tasks.
Perform central line and mediport access, lab draws, and dressing changes.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to dress code policies.
Adhere to floating policies as required.
Engage in continuous improvement of practices to better serve patients.
Participate in discussions regarding on-call and weekend requirements during the interview process.
Documentation will be performed using the designated system.
Comply with attendance and other operational policies.
Maintain a respectful and clean workplace, including personal grooming standards.
Assist in maintaining a healthy and supportive work environment.
