Must-Have:
– Traveler experience required unless candidate has more than 24 months of cardiac experience.
– Skills in Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, sheath removal, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, post-MI, pre/post cardiac catheterization, management of cardiac drips, chest tubes, external CPAP/BIPAP, nasal cannula, and non-invasive airway management.

Description:
Registered Nurses will provide care in a cardiac telemetry unit.
Candidates must be able to work with a variety of patient diagnoses, including atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, coronary artery disease, aortic stenosis/regurgitation, mitral regurgitation/stenosis, endocarditis, cardiomyopathy, peripheral vascular disease, and venous stasis.
Familiarity with special procedures such as CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, and other vascular surgeries is preferred.
The role includes managing patients post-cardiac procedures and understanding the use of specialized equipment.
Candidates will need to demonstrate competency in EKG interpretation.
Candidates will be expected to float within the hospital or to nearby facilities based on patient needs.
This position requires working no more than five consecutive days and a maximum of 60 hours per week.
Weekend requirements include working 4 weekends out of every 4 weeks, with flexibility.
Orientation consists of 8 hours of non-billable training.
