Must-Have: Ability to read, write, and speak English; Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Description:
The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of a team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers.
They ensure that patients and families receive individualized, high-quality, safe patient care.
They practice in a clinical environment administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders.
The practice is supported through a Shared Governance Model.
The framework for practice is guided by a Professional Practice Model and evidence-based practice and research.
RN competencies are derived from these models and supported by core values.

All RN Clinical Nurses are expected to be licensed, knowledgeable, and uphold the practice of nursing.
They implement the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards set forth by professional nursing associations.
As a member of the patient services team, it is expected that the individual upholds patient voices and system policies while supporting service excellence goals.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Performs the Nursing Process: assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Uses evidence-based practice and analytical/critical thinking to ensure individualized care.

Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care.
Adapts service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity.

Coordinates the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care.
Promotes diverse and inclusive interdisciplinary communication methods.
Completes timely documentation and promotes a respectful clinical environment.

Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration in a fiscally responsible manner.
Participates in performance improvement and supports all stakeholders.
Actively supports and participates in shared governance at all levels.

Completes all required professional competency assessments and mandatory education.
Serves as a preceptor and mentor for other professional nurses and staff.
Models the professional practice of nursing and creates a healthy work environment.

Promotes evidence-based practice and nursing research.
Participates in evaluating patient care products and decision-making processes.
Upholds organizational policies and procedures and clinical competencies.

Participates in data collection and poses relevant clinical questions.
