Description:
Position available for a Registered Nurse in Med Surg.
The role involves providing direct patient care activities for all age groups.
Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Nurses will monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort.
The position requires maintaining professional accountability for the provision of patient care.
Candidates must demonstrate effective communication and coordination of care with other departments.
Maintaining patient rights and confidentiality of patient information is essential.
The role requires compliance with established guidelines of nursing practice and relevant regulations.
Physical requirements include standing and walking most of the time on duty.
The position may involve bending, stooping, and lifting or turning patients with assistance.
Candidates should be prepared to work varying schedules and shifts as required by patient care needs.
Exposure to blood and body fluids is a possibility in this position.

Dress code includes wearing scrubs in designated colors with no open-toed shoes.
