Description:
This position is for a registered nurse in an adult inpatient admission unit.
The unit functions as an admission area adjacent to the emergency department.
It requires the ability to handle frequent patient turnover, both admitting and transferring out.
Ratios are 1 nurse to 4-5 patients.
The unit has 17 beds and up to 8 hall beds.
Nurses must be skilled in monitoring telemetry and interpreting dysrhythmias.
The role involves managing various medical equipment and effective time management.
Flexibility to float to the emergency department and other areas is required.
Travelers must comply with all facility requirements and complete necessary onboarding processes.
Medical and religious exemptions for vaccinations are accepted with appropriate documentation.
RTO requests will be evaluated based on client preferences and requirements.
