Description:
Travel RN position in Bone Marrow Transplant ICU.
The unit has 37 beds and is staffed with 82 nurses and 7 Patient Care Technicians.
Day Shift features 1 charge nurse, 15-16 nurses, and 3 Patient Care Technicians.
Night Shift also includes 1 charge nurse and 15-16 nurses.
Patient ratios are 3:1.
Equipment used includes Alaris Pumps.
Electronic Medical Record system is Meditech.
Common procedures performed include chemotherapy administration and neutropenic fever protocols involving blood culture draws and IV medications.
