Must-Have:
– Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience
– Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring
– Pre/Post Cardiac Catheterization and Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery experience
– Sheath removal experience
– Accessing ports
– Blood product administration
– Central line care management
– PICC line management
– Cardiac drip titration for Diltiazem and Amiodarone
– Post Cardiac Catheterization experience
Description:
RTO after booking is not allowed and must not be worked out onsite.
Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly lead to a cancellation.
The unit will accept first-time travelers.
Local candidates are accepted.
Ratios will be 1:6-7.
The unit requires a float requirement.
Weekend shifts may involve working 5-6 weekends per contract period.
Contract staff will be assigned to work during catastrophic events, mass casualty, or disasters.
Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
No RTO is allowed during the first week of the assignment due to orientation.
Candidates must be comfortable with floating to other units based on their skill sets and the unit’s needs.
Candidates may require passing EKG testing prior to start for this specialty.
References are required upon starting.
Fatigue policy states that travelers cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or exceed 60 hours in a week.
