Experience:
Must have a minimum of two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty.
Experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable areas (3 or above) is required.

License:
Must have a valid nursing license.

Certifications:
BLS and ACLS certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association.

Must-Have:
Strong skills in cardiac/thoracic procedures such as ECMO, CABG, LVAD, and thoracic robot-assisted surgeries.
Willingness to take call, including one weekday and every fourth or fifth weekend.

Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work with a multidisciplinary team.
The nurse will plan for patient care in the operating room in a timely manner.
Effective communication and coordination of operating room activities to facilitate efficiency in surgical case progression are essential.
Implementation of safe, competent, and efficient patient and family care within policies and standards of care is required.
This position may involve floating to multiple units based on staffing needs.
Candidates should adhere to all protocols and guidelines during their assignments.
Orientation is provided to ensure familiarity with protocols and procedures.
Pass/fail testing will be required prior to starting.
Telemetry competency assessments will also be conducted as a part of the onboarding process.
