Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Shift: Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)

Experience: Minimum 2 years, ideally PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown; Preferably charge experience and proficiency in titrating cardiac drips, starting IVs, interpretation, and management of dysrhythmias
License: Must have state or compact license depending on start date
Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH
Must-Have:
18 months of relevant experience, university education accredited by ACEN or CCNE, 2 supervisor references
Job Description:
– Night shift, 3×12-hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
– First-time travelers are welcome to apply
– Mandatory to work every other weekend, and depending on operational needs, may be required to work consecutive weekends
– Charge coverage might be necessary with provided training and resources
– Floating within hospital levels (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) may be required with support provided as needed
– Staffing ratios typically 1:5 for medical PCU with near ICU level acuity
– Work with patients dealing with multiple cardiac drips, stable ventilators, and multi-organ and liver failures
– Required to complete 12 hours of non-billable orientation and online learning modules pre-start
– Must adhere to current vaccine and exemption policies
– Candidates are required to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
– Must have started the licensing process if the license is not in hand for start dates scheduled 4+ weeks out
