Must-Have:
– PCU experience
– Cardiac experience
– Proficiency with drips such as heparin, tikosin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitro, Lasix, ketamine

Job Description:

– Work within a 20-bed unit on the 10th floor of a main hospital building
– Collaborate with a team of 40 staff members, including RNs and PCTs
– Manage night shifts consisting of 1 Charge RN, 5 nurses, and 2 PCTs
– Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4
– Operate equipment such as telemetry monitors, suction pumps, feeding pumps, tracheostomy tubes, BiPAP/CPAP machines, heated high flow therapy, chest tubes, Foley catheters, pacemaker wires, IV pumps, SCD pumps
– Utilize the Meditech electronic medical records system
– Perform procedures including chest tube placements and removals, pacemaker wire removals, and 12-lead EKGs
– Be a team player with high energy in a fast-paced and challenging cardiac unit within a center of excellence
