Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a position in the Cardiovascular ICU.
The nurse will work 12-hour night shifts.
This role requires working every other weekend.
Float requirements are as needed within your skillset.
Common diagnoses and treatments include post-cath care, post-op heart surgery, and unstable acute myocardial infarction.
The unit has 12 beds.
Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 2:1, 1:1 for immediate post-op and LVAD cases, and 1:2 for ECMO cases.
Charting is done using Epic software.
Scrub color is navy blue.
Additional areas of float support include the float pool.
Special procedures include ECMO and bedside emergent re-entry.
