Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Job Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night, 12 Hours

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per week

Experience: Minimum of 2 years

License: Active GA or Compact License

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Must-Have:

– Willingness to float to different locations if needed
– Ability to manage critical cardiac drips, insulin drips, levophed, art lines, respiratory distress, diabetic ketoacidosis, and substance overdose
– Experience in tracheostomy management with chronic ventilator support

Job Description:

– Provide high-quality patient care on the Intermediate Care Unit
– Work with a patient ratio of 1:4
– Maintain and manage various critical drips and lines
– Handle respiratory and cardiac emergencies efficiently
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
– Document and communicate patient care and condition to relevant team members
– Remain flexible and adaptable to meet the unit’s needs
