Position Summary:

An ICU RN is a highly trained registered nurse who specializes in caring for critically ill or injured patients in the Intensive Care Unit. Their responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring vital signs and responding to life-threatening changes.

  • Administering medications and advanced treatments.

  • Operating and managing life support equipment (like ventilators).

  • Providing round-the-clock care and support to patients and their families.

  • Collaborating with doctors and other healthcare professionals to create and implement care plans.

Required Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted certification/licensure as an RN in New York State.

Certifications Required:
ACLS, BLS REQUIRED
