Position: RN Emergency Room
Location: Seattle, WA 
Shift: Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:00)
Duration: 13 weeks
Start date: 06/16/2025
Experience: 3 years

Position Summary: Our client is looking for an Emergency Room RN with 3 years of experience.

All previous perm employees of ANY Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. All Swedish facilities honor active compact license.

Minimum experience required: 3 years for Aya Offer and screen 2 years strong experience with required skillsets
Will accept first time travelers

FLOATING REQUIRED – Edmonds and other Swedish campuses on occasion
On call every other weekend – Varies may be every other

Staffing Ratio 1:4
Visits/Day: 65
Beds: 18

Medication System: Pyxis
Charting System: EPIC

PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
– General ED, psych, SUDO Chemical Dependency, ECT/TMS, Involuntary Status, Medical Psych, Restraints, Seclusion, Voluntary Status
– Psych, SUDO Chemical Dependency (inpatient primarily, rarely seen in ED first).
– Involuntary Status, Medical Psych, Restraints, Seclusion, Voluntary Status
– 10% pediatrics

SPECIAL PROCEDURES:
– Breathing Treatments
– Chest Tube Set-up/Care, CPAP/BiPap, RSI – Rapid Sequence Intubation, Trach Care, Vents
– Blood/Blood Products Administration
– Cardioversion/Defibrillation; Cooling/Warming Blanket
– Obtain 12 Lead EKG, Tele Interpretation
– Drains, Feeding Tubes
– PICC/Central Lines; Port-A-Cath/Vascular Device Access/Care
– Syringe Pumps, Triple Lumen Catheter.

SKILLS

Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response:
– Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias (REQUIRED)

IV therapy/Phlebotomy:
– Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs (REQUIRED)

Medications:
– IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration (REQUIRED)

Respiratory:
– CPAP/BiPAP, Ventilated patients (REQUIRED)

Professional Topics and Skills:
– Triage (REQUIRED)

Additional Skills: Trauma Level II or III

Previous charge experience preferred
Charting experience preferred
Scrubs: professional, any color

Pay: $50.00 – $70.00/hour
