Job Description

Job Title: RN – MS/Peds Float
Location: Lebanon, IN 46052
Weekly Pay: $1900 to $2100
Shift: Night 3×12-Hour (18:00 – 06:30)

Start Date: 05/19/2025

Job Type: Contract(13 weeks)

Position Summary:

  • Position / Specialty: Med/Surg
  • *Call In Expectation: If a traveler calls in for a shift, they will be required to pick up another shift to make up for the call-in.*
  • Call Requirements: Possibility of being placed on call- depends on unit need/census
    Weekend Requirements: minimum 3 weekends in 6 week period. shift time 6p-6:30a
    Floating Requirement: Possibility of being floated.
    Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
  • Ratios: 1:5
  • Years of experience REQ: 1 yr
  • Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
  • Please Note: travelers cannot start without their PALS certificate. PALS is required for med surg RNs per Witham Health Services policy as we admit pediatrics to this unit.
  • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Possibly- Med surg nurses don’t typically float to other units, if they do they do not do primary nursing. They may be asked to take vitals, assist with call lights, etc.
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? Managers try to accommodate block scheduling, however they also have to look at staffing and weekend coverage overall, so block scheduling is not guaranteed
  • Special Requirements: Ambulatory, MS experience preferred. Tele experience REQUIRED.
