Must-Have: Strong IMC and/or ICU experience; Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; Ventilator management

Description:
The Intermediate Care Unit requires a registered nurse for night shifts.
The nurse will care for a variety of medical patients.
Common conditions include respiratory issues, diabetic ketoacidosis, arrhythmias, postoperative kidney transplant patients, and interventional neurological patients.
The unit is capable of caring for telemetry patients with medical and surgical needs as well as the renal population.
The nurse will work with a staff ratio of 3:1 for IMCU and 4:1 for medical/surgical.
Orientation is held every other week.
The nursing team may float within their scope to meet facility needs when required.
Every other weekend availability is required.
Candidates should be open to discussing block schedule requests during the interview.
No call requirement is in place.
Weekly guaranteed hours are available in options of 36 or 48 hours.
Flu vaccination is required unless a medical exemption is documented.
Covid vaccination is not required.
Candidates must have strong communication skills.
All necessary documentation must be provided prior to start.
