Description:
This is a Float Pool position.
The RN will float to ICU and PCU units.
Position involves a virtual interview process.
The nurse will work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend.
Assignment length is for 13 weeks.
Common diagnoses and treatments vary based on the unit.
The number of beds in the unit varies.
Nurse to patient ratio for critical care is 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, 1:5.
Nurse to patient ratio for intermediate care is 1:3, 1:4, 1:5.
Charting will be done using EPIC.
Scrub color required is blue-royal.
Float support areas include critical care and intermediate care.
Special procedures vary based on the unit.
