Description:
This is a travel RN position in the Cardiovascular Operating Room.
The typical shift hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The unit has 2 heart rooms, with a potential 3rd room.
There are 4 RNs and 3 CSTs on staff.
The staff operates on a 1:1 patient ratio.
Call is required, but there are no night shifts.
The unit uses Meditech for electronic medical records.
Common procedures performed include CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR.
Ideal candidates should be confident and skilled in CVOR.
An ECMO program is restarting on the unit.
