Description:

Contract position for a Registered Nurse in the postpartum unit.

This role is for a duration of 13 weeks.

No call required.

Candidates must hold a nursing license.

BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory.

The unit has a total of 24 beds and 26 staff members.

Staffing consists of 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 1 clerk during the day shift.

There are no patient care techs during the night.

Patient ratios typically range from 3:1 and 4:1, with occasional 2:1 based on patient acuity.

The unit specializes in performing non-stress tests, managing hyperemesis, and administering insulin and heparin drips, along with magnesium administration.

Candidates are expected to have effective communication skills and be team-oriented.

Scrubs should be navy blue in color.
