Description:
The role is within the Neuro Critical Care Unit.
This unit focuses on patients suffering from severe brain injuries, strokes, or brain tumors.
Many patients are post-operative from neurosurgical procedures.
Providers in this unit specialize in post-operative neurosurgical care for neurologically complex patients.
This includes care for those with strokes, brain tumors, and nerve and muscle diseases.
The patient population requires care providers to interface between the brain and other vital organ systems.
Orientation dates are available with no guaranteed hours.
Weekends and call schedules will be included in the work requirements.
This position may require floating to areas with similar skill sets, such as ICUs.
