Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, LVAD certifications

Must-Have:
– Cardiac surgical experience
– Experience in pre/post cardiac surgery, post VAD, and thoracic surgery
– Proficiency with chest tubes, biphasic defibrillator, restraints, G-tube/PEG tube, art lines, central lines, thoracotomy procedures, and blood product administration

Description:
Night shift only position available.
Must be available to work every other weekend.
Floating to other units is expected.
Night shift may include orientation shifts during the day.
Expectation to work every other holiday.
Facility reserves the right to call off up to 3 shifts for a 13-week contract and 2 shifts for less than a 13-week contract.
There will be eight hours of non-billable orientation.
