– Willingness to float to other units and hospitals
– Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as required
Description:
The position involves working in the oncology unit, which is a 16-bed unit dedicated to patients with various cancer diagnoses.
Nurses in this area will have a patient ratio of 1:5 and will specialize in the administration of chemotherapy.
This multidisciplinary team includes oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and support staff who are skilled and compassionate.
The focus is on providing specialized nursing care and creating an optimal healing environment for each patient and their family.
Team members are expected to collaborate effectively to support patients throughout their unique journeys.
The role requires working primarily in the oncology unit while being flexible to float to other units as needed.
