Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room.
The facility is licensed for 457 beds and is designated as a Level 3 Trauma center.
It is recognized as a Stroke Center of Excellence and a Bariatric Center of Excellence.
The Operating Room consists of 19 suites with an average of 50 cases per day.
Surgery specialties include trauma, orthopedic trauma, spine, vascular, GYN, and robotics, among others.
A minimum of 5 years of experience is required for this position.
First-time travelers will not be accepted.
The department offers support from clinical supervisors, charge nurses, and educators.
Unit-specific equipment includes typical operating room tools and technology.
There are weekend rotation requirements every other week.
Call is required, averaging 6 shifts per 6-week schedule, with a 45-minute response time.
Holidays will have expectations for travelers to work 75% of the time.
RTO is subject to manager approval.
