Description:
Scrub and circulate experience for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases is required.
The shift is 3x12s from 10:30 to 23:00.
There is no on-call duty or required weekends, with possible holiday coverage.
A minimum of 2 years of experience is required, although 1 year of experience in a Level 1 trauma facility may be accepted.
New travelers are accepted only if they have more than 2 years of experience in a Level 1 trauma facility.
No weekend availability is required.
The facility will allow float within the service line to meet needs.
Block scheduling is not accommodated.
Local candidates are not accepted.
Applicants must reside at least 75 miles from the facility.
Pending licenses are accepted.
There are no restrictions on time off.
No more than 7 days of time off is allowed.
A BSN is preferred.
Experience scrubbing and circulating is required for cardiac and thoracic cases primarily, as well as vascular procedures.
The facility is a short-term acute care teaching facility with a total of 1,266 staffed beds.
Charting is done through an electronic health record system.
Orientation consists of 40 hours of training.
