Travel Nurse RN – Labor/Delivery – $1,840 per week in Orangeburg, SC

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 – 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license (must be in hand prior to start) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience Preferred; Community Hospital Experience Preferred Description: We are seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves working 3 nights per week from 7 PM to 7 AM. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. The role does not require being on call. Travelers may need to float within the women’s area as needed. Candidates with a minimum of two years of experience are preferred. First-time travelers will not be accepted for this role. A valid South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license must be held prior to the start of the assignment. Certification in ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP is required. Previous experience in a charge nurse role is preferred. Community hospital experience is also preferred. The facility can call off one shift every two weeks if necessary. All travelers should be aware of the potential for emergency response team assignments during hurricane season. The hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak activity in August and September.
